Like the Latin tangere, meaning ‘to touch,’ and the word ‘tangent,’ which signifies an infinity of polar opposites, TAN presents clothing invested with aspiration for the limitless potential of knit wear.
By instilling the phrase ‘from yarn to garment’ at the centre of our practice, we create intricately figured textures and designs that make full use of a wide variety of knitting techniques.
With an understanding of how a single thread and stitch has the ability to transform, TAN continues to delicately and boldly express a myriad of possibilities through knitwear.

ラテン語で‟触れる”という意味と、無限の正負を示す tangent の様に、ニットプロダクトの限りない可能性に希望を込めて 「糸から衣装へ」をキーワードにテクニックを駆使し、緻密に計算された編組織とデザイン を提案。糸一本、ゲージ 1 つでその表情を一変させるニットの無限の 可能性を、繊細かつ大胆に表現し続けるニットブランドです。
SS 2024も変わらずニッティングに拘り、デザイナーがよく見る夢の景色を描き起こした柄を軸に創造したコレクションとなっております。
パイルやシフォンのような柔らかいテキスタイルから、メタリック感のある硬質な素材まで様々な糸を軽やかに使用し、
色彩豊富に力強く儚く編み出しています。
